The COPD Assessment Test

These two brief webcasts provide background to the COPD Assessment Test (CAT)—a short, simple, validated questionnaire for measuring health status in COPD patients. The CAT can be used alongside measures such as lung function to give a more complete picture of how COPD affects a patient.

By using the CAT patients should be better able to describe the impact COPD has on them. Healthcare professionals should then have greater patient insight to support optimisation of patient care.
